LIP INJECTING COURSE & UPPER FACE ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONS

(COMBINED COURSE)

The Basic Dermal Filler & Foundation Anti Wrinkle Injections courses will enable the successful delegate to deliver both Dermal Fillers & Anti Wrinkle Injections to their clients in an experienced safe environment. Here at Empire we pride ourselves in the quality of our training by offering small intimate classes in order for each student to leave feeling both confident and relaxed during our courses. With just 4 students allocated to each course, our experienced tutors can give all students the perfect blend of demonstrations and one to one attention throughout the course.

With the combined course, we have brought two of our most popular courses together in the form a combined course to offer our students an even more affordable combination of two of the most sought after treatments within the industry of Aesthetics. The course will focus on all the core principles of each treatment, giving students all the tools needed to perform such treatments to their own clients after training. Here at Empire, no corners are cut with training offering students ample opportunity to practise on both zanco models and real life models who adore treatments from our students.

The course runs for 4 days, consisting of two full theory days and two full practical days. Students will also receive in-depth anatomy and physiology training concluding in a level 4 qualifications being awarded at the end of the course.  The live models we provide for students have grown a relationship with out tutors and are regulars to our academies. They understand the process of our students training and enjoy the questions our students may have for our tutors.

The course is aimed at both medics and non medics who wish to add treatments to their portfolios, or even kickstart their injectables career in Aesthetics. As part of the training we target key important areas and make sure that students are ready to perform treatments after training. Such areas are both dealing with complications for clients and learning how to dissolve filler should any problems arise, both of which are essential to offering both treatments.

Upon the training's completion, all Empire students can progress instantly onto our advanced courses without waiting 6 months. This is due to a number of factors such as: 1. The quality of our training, 2. Our relationships with industry leading insurers, 3. Tutors with decades of experience in treatments. 4. 5 star academies with the highest level of equipment and working environments.

As this course contains specific requirements (please see below), delegates who do not meet these criteria, are strongly recommended to successfully complete our Pathway to Aesthetics course prior to enrolling on this course.

ABOUT DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal Fillers are made from sterile and transparent gel based cross-linked non-animal synthetic hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance present in the human body. The cross-linked hyaluronic acid in derma fillers mimics the natural hyaluronic acid already present in the human body.

Dermal Fillers utilize an innovative spherification technology, which smoothes Hyaluronic Acids’ traditionally angular rhomboid molecular structure, leading to smoother, more natural results, which can last 6 –12 months.

However, it is important to emphasise that the effect is very individual and can vary depending on the skin type, age*, treated area and possible previous treatments in the same area. A follow-up of the treatment can contribute to prolonging the effect of the initial treatment.

Although hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the (skin) dermis, its injection may in very rare cases provoke undesired reactions such as hematoma, necrosis, pigmentation and granuloma. After a treatment, certain reactions of short duration can occur. Common and expected reactions are skin redness, tenderness and swelling or pain in the treated area. These inconveniences may last from one hour up to a week. After treatment the patient should avoid strenuous exercise and protect the treated area from intense sunlight and extreme temperatures.

ABOUT ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONS

Anti Wrinkle injections primary purpose is the ability to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles. They're also used to treat conditions such as neck spasms (cervical dystonia), excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), an overactive bladder and lazy eye. Anti Wrinkle injections may also help prevent chronic migraines in a lot of cases.

Anti Wrinkle injections use a toxin to temporarily prevent a muscle from moving. This toxin is produced by the microbe that causes botulism, a type of food poisoning.

WHY IS ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONS PERFORMED?

Anti Wrinkle injections block certain chemical signals from nerves, mostly signals that cause muscles to contract. The most common use of these injections is to temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes. Anti Wrinkle injections are also used to treat conditions that affect how the body functions. Examples include:

  • Cervical dystonia. In this painful condition, your neck muscles contract involuntarily causing your head to twist or turn into an uncomfortable position.
  • Lazy eye. The most common cause of lazy eye is an imbalance in the muscles responsible for positioning the eye.
  • Muscle contractures. Some neurological conditions, such as cerebral palsy, can cause your limbs to pull in toward your center. In some cases, these contracted muscles can be relaxed with Anti Wrinkle injections.
  • Hyperhidrosis. In this condition, excessive sweating occurs even when the temperature isn't hot and you're not exerting yourself.
  • Chronic migraine. If you experience migraines more than 15 days a month, Anti Wrinkle injections may help reduce headache frequency.
  • Bladder dysfunction. Anti Wrinkle injections can also help reduce urinary incontinence caused by an overactive bladder.
  • Eye twitching. Anti Wrinkle injections may help relieve contracture or twitching of muscles around the eye.
