The cupid’s bow is typically highlighted in the shape of a heart, giving the lips a doll-like plumpness whilst maintaining a natural appearance.

This treatment involves the use of additional filler, with the primary aim to elevate the lips rather than add excessive volume. It’s frequently regarded as a suitable option for newcomers to lip treatments who desire a striking yet balanced enhancement.

Unlike typical lip augmentation, the filler is injected vertically into multiple locations and pulled upward from the base to the top of the lip. Russian lips are enhanced more in height than volume, requiring a longer treatment time due to the additional product needed.

Russian Lip filler treatments traditionally range from 15 to 30 minutes. However, more filler usage and the detailed technique can extend this time to 30-45 minutes.

This technique is most effective on virgin lips but can also be applied to lips with existing filler, provided they are not overfilled, have no lumps, and show no signs of product migration. This technique cannot be performed if you have previously experienced lumps or have substantial product in your lips from past treatments.
